Safety operating procedures for slitting machines

1、 Power on

1. Turn on the Galvanic isolation switch (set in front of the electrical control cabinet), press the emergency stop button, and turn the key on MACHINE to RUN (on the main operating console) to check whether the voltage (380V) and current are correct and stable.

2. Turn on the power switch of the hydraulic system (set on the main hydraulic drive frame), and check whether the oil level and pressure gauge display of the main hydraulic drive system are correct and stable.

3. Open the pneumatic shut-off valve (set on the intake pipe under the pneumatic control cabinet) and check if the air pressure is correct (not less than 6.0bar) and stable.

2、 Set Control

1. Set the cutting menu according to the film type, thickness, length, width, etc. arranged on the cutting plan.

2. Lift the corresponding BOPP film file from the PDF.

3. Set the winding length and width of the corresponding specification film.

4. Select the corresponding winding station, adjust the pressure roller arm and pressure roller, and install the corresponding specifications of the paper core.



3、 Material loading, film threading, and film connection

1. Loading: According to the requirements of the cutting plan sheet, according to the operating procedures of the crane, according to the actual situation, lift the corresponding mother coil from the time frame, select the direction based on the inside and outside of the corona surface, and place it on the unwinding frame of the cutting machine. Use the control button to clamp the steel core and leave the steel core support arm and the crane.

2. Film penetration: When there is no film on the slitting machine, film penetration must be carried out. Using the film piercing device and function keys of the slitting machine, tie one end of the original film to the film piercing chain eye, activate the film piercing button, and make the film evenly distributed on each roller along the slitting process direction.

3. Film bonding: when there is film on the slitter and the roll joint is changed, use the vacuum film bonding platform to start the film bonding platform to the working position first, manually flatten the film on the first traction roller of the slitter and start the upper vacuum pump to suck the film, so that the film is evenly adsorbed on the film bonding platform, stick the double-sided tape and cut off the excess film under the tape, flatten the film on the unwinding rack and start the lower vacuum pump to make the film evenly adsorbed, remove the paper layer on the tape and level the bonding film, The joints should be neat and wrinkle free, then turn off the upper and lower vacuum pumps and turn on the film receiving platform to the non working position.

4、 Start up and run

1. Change the specifications, install the paper core on the inner and outer winding arms, and notify all personnel to leave the machine and prepare for operation when the pressure roller is in a ready state for operation.

2. Place ANTI-STAIC BARS on the main control panel in AUTO, activate READY TO RUN, and start MACHINE RUN to start running.

5、 Slitting control

During the slitting operation, carefully monitor and observe the slitting effect, and adjust and control the slitting speed, unwinding tension, contact pressure, arc roller, edge traction roller, and guide edge appropriately.

6、 Receiving materials

1. When the machine stops running after the inner and outer ends are wound up, use the film unloading button to place the film on the prepared film unloading trolley, cut the film and stick the film roll with sealing adhesive.

2. Use the clamp release button to release the card head and check if the paper cores of each film roll have left the paper core. If one end is still stuck on the paper core, manually remove the film roll.

3. After ensuring that all films have left the chuck and been placed on the trolley, use the film loading button to lift the winding arm, install the corresponding paper core, and neatly attach the film to the paper core for the next cutting.

7、 Parking

1. When the film roll reaches the set length, the equipment automatically stops.

2. During the operation of the equipment, the machine can be stopped as needed by pressing the MACHINE STOP button.

3. When a quick stop is required, press the MACHINE STOP key for more than 2 seconds.

4. When there is an emergency state such as equipment or human accidents, press EMERGENCY STOP to stop the vehicle.

8、 Precautions

1. Ensure that the voltage, current, and hydraulic equivalents are correct and stable before starting the machine.

2. Before the equipment is ready for operation, all personnel must notify them to leave the equipment to ensure personal safety before starting and running.

3. When the slitting machine is running, do not touch the running film roll with your hands
